The Marketing team sat down with a few members for a brief Q&A…
Leena Dayal
Q: Where were you before this?
A: I was actually at the 2012 London Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games
Q: What are some of your hobbies?
A: A few of my hobbies are: Playing tennis, Event Planning, traveling and going on adventures with my 2 kids and husband
Avni Agrawal
Q: What are you currently reading?
A: The Sympathizer by Viet Thanh Nguyen – it is a very good book but I just wish it would get to the point already! Fun fact about me: Once I start reading a book, I have to read it all the way through, I just have to.
Q: What TV show are you currently hooked on?
A: Stranger Things on Netflix, everyone needs to watch it! I also watch John Oliver, religiously and am re-watching my all-time favorite Sex & The City
Lan Le
Q: What are you currently reading?
A: The Lean Product Playbook by Dan Olsen and Sprint by designers at Google Ventures. These days, I’m reading almost exclusively about product innovation (exciting, right?!). Two questions that I love thinking about are, ‘Are we designing the right thing?” (i.e. strategy) and “Are we designing the thing correctly and efficiently?” (i.e. process). Of course, there’s also a third one! “How do I answer the first two questions?” That’s what the two books are about and why I’m reading them.
Q: What’s on your mind lately?
A: The bread at Pomodoro Trattoria. When I eat out, I pay attention to the complementary dishes offered. They don’t get featured on the menu, and play a quiet part of everyone’s meal. I tried the bread there 2 weeks ago, and I guess you can say, I’ve been inspired! The bread doesn’t have to be amazing, but it is.
