With team members and clients that span the globe, Diversity and Inclusion live at the core of who we are. Our long-standing commitment to diversity and inclusion is most evident in our mentoring, recruiting, and retention efforts and extends into the support we show for our local communities.
Since 2017, MatchCraft has partnered with the Fulfillment Fund, an LA-based program that empowers and educates students through mentorship, online education, internship opportunities and individual college counseling.
“MatchCraft gives back to the community wherever we can,” said Sandy Lohr, MatchCraft’s CEO. “We were drawn to working with the Fulfillment Fund since it’s hyper-focused on providing educational opportunities to underserved youth in the LA area. And we believe that a solid education can serve as the catalyst for not only a wonderful career but also enable these program participants to give back to the community themselves.”
MatchCraft has successfully sponsored internships for college students in both marketing and leadership development roles. A Fulfillment Fund alumnus recently joined MatchCraft as a full time addition to the People & Culture team, responsible for executive support, special project coordination, and employee engagement initiatives.
Earlier this year, MatchCraft became a founding member of the Los Angeles chapter of Chief. Chief is an executive leadership program focused on connecting and supporting women leaders. Chief’s mission is to drive more women into power and keep them there. It is the only organization specifically designed for senior women leaders, to sharpen skills, share knowledge, and strengthen professional connections.

In addition to extensive career-related diversity outreach programs, MatchCraft has a deep sense of social responsibility and supports community based initiatives including food drives, team soup kitchen events, and disaster relief efforts.
At this year’s #HashTagLunchBag event, the team provided the supplies for and assembled 217 sack lunches for distribution in the LA area.
Our Pay It Forward initiative extends a half day of paid time off per year to each employee to volunteer to causes that positively impact our communities. Team members who live near each other are encouraged to find a local organization to support together.
Some of the local groups we supported this year include:
Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina
Sophia’s Kitchen
