The MatchCraft team continues to grow. Say hello to our most recent additions:
Ara Aghamalian (right) is MatchCraft’s new Senior Corporate IT Manager, based in our Santa Monica headquarters. Ara comes to MatchCraft from Modern VideoFilm, a post-production company in Burbank, before which he worked for a number of startups in and around Los Angeles. Joining MatchCraft cut Ara’s daily commute down from more than an hour each way (two hours on bad days) to less than five minutes. He says he’ll be spending that time on the vintage race cars he collects, restores and races. His current holdings include an agave green 1971 BMW 2002 and a black 2006 Porsche Cayman, plus what he calls “a normal car” with room for friends and dogs.
Chrissie Schedny (middle) joins MatchCraft’s training team as Digital Training Manager based in Dallas. An award-winning sales professional, Chrissie moved to the U.S. in 2009 (for love!) after 14 years with Sensis in her native Australia. Working as a field sales trainer for Dex Media, Chrissie was based in Phoenix but traveled constantly – a great way to get to know her adopted homeland. What does she miss most about living in Australia? “The ocean, which I rarely see because I’ve only lived in landlocked cities here in the U.S.,” she says. “And a really good Aussie meat pie.” (Fortunately, both are available less than a mile from MatchCraft’s headquarters in Santa Monica.)
Drew Traglia (left) joins MatchCraft as Senior Product Manager. Before MatchCraft he worked at the University of Southern California, where he led teams of designers, developers and producers in the Marshall School of Business’s digital online marketing programs. In addition to USC, Drew has worked with Microsoft, Apple, Idealab!, and the Annenberg Foundation, and has produced television for NBC, MTV and VH1. Like Ara, Drew cut his commute considerably in coming to MatchCraft – like many others on the MatchCraft team, he lives only a few miles away from the Santa Monica headquarters. Drew plans to spend his extra hours with his kids, ages 3 and 6.
